We are going to Pintxos in Vitoria

Today starts at European Capital of Gastronomy, Vitoria-Gasteiz, the first Pintxo Route.

Until next July 13, visitors and locals will be able to enjoy a fun-gastronomic event.

With a recommended price of € 2,50 (Cap + Bottle) the participating venues will delight the most demanding palates.

As the city council tells us, these days and today, the “pintxos

They have ceased to be a mere complement to consumption to become the true protagonist of one of the most deeply rooted social customs of our territory.

The tourist offer of the Alava capital is based, of course, on its gastronomy, as a result of this last November it was chosen as the European gastronomic capital throughout this year.

On this occasion, the main bars of the city’s hotel establishments adorn their visual and taste offer, mixing art, avant-garde and classicism to achieve those unique bites that they offer us during the days of the route and of course throughout the year.

A Green and gastronomic weekend

In order to complete the gastronomic offer of the city, its town hall offers us endless activities that will take place over the coming months, as a result of this European award, the initiative arose Gastro Green Weekend.

An idea that arises from the collaboration between different hotel establishments, restaurants and shops in the city, which together with the main organizations that promote local tourism.

They have carried out this initiative, which has become a reality of exclusive prices for those who choose to spend a “different” weekend in a “unique” territory and enjoy a “gastro green” experience for all audiences.

We cannot put aside before finishing, highlighting the next event that will begin immediately after the pintxo route concludes.

This is the XXXVIII Jazz Festival that will be held in the city from July 13 to 19, where art and melody merge with gastronomy in a spectacular symbiosis that make the town a monument to architecture, music and good eating.
