Vice Miss World 2015, Miss Russia 2015 Sofia Nikitchuk: interview 2015

The silver winner of the prestigious competition returned to her native Yekaterinburg to celebrate the New Year with her family. She told Woman’s Day what it was like to suddenly become famous, and congratulated our readers on the holiday.

“At the competition, Russian-speaking girls were a mountain for each other!”

No, not at all. Both the first place and the second have their pros and cons. I think the second place has even more advantages. I dedicated my victory to my grandmother – she died a month before the final …

I cannot be sure exactly what their decision depended on, but, perhaps, politics could play a role here. But I gave it 100%.

Finalists. Winner – Mireya Lalaguna Royo – sitting

Lack of sleep! We woke up every day at 6 am and went to bed at 12 at night. There was a very big difference with Moscow – 5 hours. Although I quickly adapted: you wake up in the morning and you know what you need to do, what events await you.

The talent competition turned out to be difficult for me – the dance was not easy for me.

My parents, brother Pavel and friends are only 20 people. We arrived with huge posters, during the competition only my support group was heard. Everyone came up and said: “You can hear only Russia!”

We had a very warm company of 10 Russian-speaking girls, we really became one team. If one is late, then all the others are waiting for her and are late together, because they will not scold everyone at once. If one is bad, then everyone is trying to help her. Now we are even thinking about going to rest together, but we haven’t decided anything yet.

She tried not to contact other girls, because it is forbidden. Honestly, when I arrived at the competition, I did not reason like this: “This girl can win, but this one will definitely not work.” I didn’t think about what place I needed, the main thing is to do everything that depends on you.

“You have to walk around Moscow with security”

Yes, it happened so. But I think no matter what happens in our lives, we must get up and move on.

First of all, he should be a man behind whom you feel like behind a stone wall. He should always support me, come home and throw off all the negative energy from himself, be a sincere, kind and loving husband and father.

Yes, it was. In Moscow, I even had to walk with security, because unpleasant situations happened, for example, they were very insistently asked to take flowers that you cannot always accept.

Now I will go to Moscow, I have a project there, and then we’ll see. I don’t tell anyone about the project, even my parents don’t know about it.

Next year I will be getting a second higher education, most likely, with a degree in psychology. And according to her first education (this year Sofia defended her diploma at UrFU in the specialty “personnel management” – approx. WD) I will not work. I haven’t chosen a university yet, it may be in Moscow.

I will go to Snezhinsk, where I was born, to my parents – we will celebrate the New Year with our family.

I congratulate all residents of Yekaterinburg! I want to wish you that all the negative remains in 2015, and in 2016 you often have a good mood, more smiles, because people sometimes forget to smile, but we ourselves can deceive our bad mood by smiling. I wish you and your loved ones health, happiness and good luck!
