Unpleasant odor from shoes: how to remove? Video

The persistent smell of foot sweat is hardly pleasant. The smell appears suddenly, but lasts a long time even after treating the feet and using abundant deodorant products. To get rid of it, you have to be patient and folk recipes.

Visit your endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, and talk to your therapist before you start fiercely fighting shoe and foot odor. Excessive sweating of the legs does not lead to a strong and persistent odor, the reason is disturbances in the endocrine system or foot fungus. Both need to be treated systemically.

The drugs prescribed by doctors must be taken in courses, do not hope that you will take the pills for a week, and the smell will disappear for life. Untreated disease, as a rule, becomes chronic.

As soon as the smell appears, strengthen your personal hygiene. Add foot baths to your regular daily soap and foot wash. The most effective: – vinegar, – tea, – salt.

Vinegar is an excellent deodorizer, so after washing your feet, dilute a glass of table vinegar with 10 liters of warm water and keep your feet in the solution for at least 10 minutes. If there is a suspicion of a fungus, add thyme oil to the solution, it, like vinegar, is a good antiseptic.

Do not use acid if there are open and unhealed wounds on the skin

The tea bath is less effective, its effect is based on the presence of a large amount of tannins in the tea, which actively tighten the pores, preventing perspiration. Just fill in 3 tbsp. tablespoons of unflavored black tea with boiling water, let it brew for 5-7 minutes, then dilute in an infusion in a bowl of warm water. You need to take a bath for half an hour, then wipe your feet dry with a waffle towel.

A salt bath made of bitter salt (sold in a store, sometimes in a pharmacy) has a similar effect. You will need 2 cups of salt for a bucket of warm water. Dissolve it and take a bath for 20 minutes daily.

Of course, treating your feet and not changing or not treating shoes is pointless. You will infect your feet with fungus over and over again. Treat shoes at home.

First of all, dry all your shoes. Make it a rule to take off your boots and turn them out or open them so that they naturally dry inside. Use dryers. If the shoes are leather, use baking soda. Simply sprinkle baking soda in old socks or sew rag bags and fill them with baking soda. Every time you even take off your shoes, put the bags in your shoes, you will quickly notice that the baking soda picks up both moisture and odor, becoming solid. Packages can be used for as long as you like.

Treat all shoes with special products that are sold in pharmacies. The most efficient ones are produced by Galeno Pharm. About 15 minutes before leaving the house, spray deodorant for shoes into your shoes, it does not kill the fungus, but masks the smell.

It is necessary, having put on gloves, a little spray of the solution on the old insoles and put them in the shoes. Place each shoe or boot in a plastic bag and tie.
