Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, bring syrup to a boil, stirring all the time. Dissolve the gelatin in a separate bowl according to the instructions that came with it. Wait a few minutes for the gelatin to dissolve and add it to the total mass. Cook everything for 10 minutes. Then gently pour freshly squeezed lemon juice into this mass and add orange zest.
