Things to do during the holiday break

New Year’s holidays should be spent so that it is not excruciatingly painful for the aimlessly spent days. Be sure to take the whole family for a walk in the snowy forest. There you can enjoy sledding, skiing and snowboarding. Make a cute snowman all together or arrange a cross-battle with snowballs. Outdoor activities in the fresh air-exactly what the body needs after a hearty get-together at the table.

Sports will also benefit your health. Go to the ice rink, sign up for a dance or buy a subscription to water aerobics.

Without a cultural program, leisure will lose a lot. Check out the movie theater for a recent premiere or the museum for an art exhibition. The child will be incredibly happy if you visit a puppet theater or a Christmas market.

Interesting entertainment will be found at home. Cook a lot of spicy mulled wine or hot chocolate and arrange a movie marathon of your favorite New Year’s movies. A family table game tournament will be a lot of fun. Dr. Oetker recommends that you master the recipes of unusual homemade pastries and treat your neighbors to them. Connect little dreamers to this fascinating process.

Devote at least one day to your beloved. Take a relaxing bath surrounded by scented candles. Experiment with new looks: make a bold makeup, an unexpected hairstyle or a bright manicure. Perhaps you will discover a new hobby. Try to sew a soft toy, do scrapbooking, decoupage or batik painting. Remember the stack of interesting books you’ve been meaning to read for a long time? Now is the perfect time to do this.
