The pace of life is the speed of alternation in the life of different things and events. Busy people are usually characterized by a fast pace of life, when in one day you need to be in time for 4 different places, write an article on the way, call customers at home, draw a presentation in the evening, and so on.

The pace of life and planning

The higher the pace of life, the more clearly and carefully you need to plan time: a mistake in planning time at high speed often carries with it a whole loop of errors.

If a mistake has already happened, you obviously need to prepare and react calmly, constructively and positively: relax and wait for the opportunity to plan the time again (from a new week, a new day, a new month, a new year).

How to ensure and maintain a high pace of life

  • Careful planning of the day, week, month, year. It is important not just to write down 15 things that need to be done on paper, but to imagine, “see” the day: when you wake up, where you will go, when you will be doing this or that business. It’s not enough just to write a plan — you also need to have a good idea of ​​what business will follow what and how long it will take. It is better to write a plan for the day taking into account time intervals, for example: at 7:00 — rise, 7:00 — 7:20 — Exercise, 7:20 — 7:50 — walk and so on. (for more details see Time Management)
  • Do small things right away, don’t procrastinate (phone calls, short letters)
  • Write everything down: if the case did not fit today, move it and write it down for another day so that it is not forgotten. If during the day I remembered or something appeared that needs to be done, immediately write it down.
  • Relaxation and positivity are a must. It is not possible to live at a fast pace for a long time. Relaxation to track as often as possible: on the road, in business: how relaxed are the shoulders? Is there a general feeling of lightness? Are you satisfied with life? Is there a sense of success?
  • Use every opportunity to relax: do you walk down the street to the subway? — Relax and take a walk. There is an opportunity without serious loss of time to take a walk somewhere — use this opportunity. The main thing is to set yourself up in advance — I’m resting.
  • Get enough sleep. And if there are a lot of things to do, then go to bed earlier and get up earlier to do things in the morning: both the head is fresh and healthier. One hour of sleep in the evening is equal to two hours of sleep in the morning.
