“The disease linked to Chikungunya has long seemed benign, its complications not being nearly as serious as those of diseases transmitted by mosquitoes such as malaria, dengue, yellow fever or zika, etc. However, some studies find the existence of some serious forms of the disease. The complications of Chikungunya are mainly linked to the persistence of pain, which does not affect the lives of those affected, but is sometimes intense and really disabling. We must really salute the work carried out by the French teams, bringing together doctors from various specialties who, faced with new forms of a disease, can now offer effective therapeutic solutions ”
