Sweetmeats for health: healthy sweets based on cereals

It is quickly boiled, well absorbed, contains a minimum amount of fiber (0.2 %), is rich in vegetable protein. We lubricate the silicone molds with oil, sprinkle with semolina, fill with a base and decorate with strawberries. Bake a tender semolina souffle for 25 minutes at 180°C. It literally melts in your mouth, giving a pleasant berry aftertaste.

Cupcake for dreamers

Do you like to experiment? Then try the carrot cake with couscous “National”. Couscous is a traditional Moroccan cereal prepared in a special way: ground durum wheat grains (i.e. semolina) are moistened, rolled into small balls and dried. As a side dish, it can be served cold or hot, such a large variety of couscous is added to salads or used instead of bread crumbs to get a crispy crust. Pour 300 g of couscous with boiling water and cover with a saucer for 10 minutes. Beat 3 eggs and 60 g of sugar into a light mass. Add 100 ml of olive oil, couscous, grated carrots, 50 g of candied fruits and a handful of crushed walnuts. Put 1 tsp of baking powder, a pinch of cardamom and nutmeg, mix vigorously. Grease the cake pan with butter, sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs, fill with dough and put in the oven at 180°C for 45 minutes. The cooled cake will reveal even better the facets of an unusual taste.

Chocolate Illusion

A useful alternative to chocolate treats is dietary buckwheat cookies “National”. We combine it with baked quinoa, make sweets, dip it in melted bitter chocolate and let it freeze in the refrigerator. What else does the body need for health and happiness?
