Sweet sausage: how to cook it yourself? Video

Children love sweet foods, especially if they don’t take a lot of time to prepare. Together with them, make a delicious dessert that doesn’t need to be baked – a delicious sausage made from cookies, chocolate, nuts and other products that you can find at home.

Sweet sausage is best made with a cookie base. Usually they take sugar cookies without additives for it, but you can use any biscuit, shortcrust crumbs and even pieces of meringue. Chocolate, toffee, dried fruits can act as additives, they go well with each other. The sausage is made very quickly, because ready-made products are used for it. In order for the dessert to acquire the desired consistency, it must be placed in the cold for several hours.

The most popular recipe is sugar cookie and cocoa sausage. Please note that the dessert turns out to be quite high-calorie; When tasting, cut the sausage into small pieces and do not eat more than two at a time.

You will need: – 300 g of cookies (for example, “Strawberry”); – 0,5 cups of milk; – 1 glass of sugar; – 2 tablespoons of cocoa; – 50 g of dark chocolate; – 2 tablespoons of cream.

Put butter in a saucepan, add milk and heat, not boiling. Mix the sugar with the cocoa powder and pour into the butter and milk mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.

Crush the cookies in a mortar. Do not turn it into a homogeneous crumb, it is much tastier when separate large pieces come across in the mixture. Pour the ground biscuits into the butter, sugar and cocoa mixture and stir.

Put the resulting thick mass on cling film, form a sausage and wrap it tightly. Refrigerate the dessert for a few hours.

Prepare the chocolate frosting. Melt dark chocolate in a water bath along with a couple of tablespoons of cream. Let the mixture cool slightly. Remove the sausage from the refrigerator, gently unfold it, coat with icing, cut into pieces and serve.

Instead of chocolate icing, the sausage can be sprinkled with cocoa powder or icing sugar.

Try making a tender sausage from cookies and grated apples; its sour-sweet taste will be appreciated by those who prefer not too sugary desserts.

You will need: – 200 g of sugar or shortbread cookies; – 200 g of sweet and sour apples; – 200 g of butter; – 0,5 cups of peeled walnuts; – 200 g of sugar; – 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Wash the apples, peel and grate on a coarse grater. If you prefer larger pieces, chop the fruit with a knife. Sprinkle the crushed apples with lemon juice to keep them from darkening.

Pound the cookies and walnut kernels in a mortar or grind with a blender. Melt the butter. In a deep bowl, combine butter, biscuits, apples and sugar and mix thoroughly.

Place the mixture on plastic wrap and shape into a sausage. Wrap the dessert tightly with plastic wrap and set aside in the cold. Before serving, cut the sausage into pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
