Some good reasons to skip dairy products

Milk and dairy products are positioned as very healthy, they are a source of protein, calcium and many vitamins. But this benefit is negligible compared to the substances that are added to milk during its production. Why is milk harmful in principle and is it worth using it often?

Sugar

Dairy products contain vitamins A, D, E, calcium, but all of them are not absorbed if milk has a fat content of less than 1 percent. And the taste of low-fat products is so-so. This is why manufacturers add food additives and flavorings to dairy products, which are usually high in sugar.

 

lactose

Lactose is poorly absorbed by the human body and causes unpleasant symptoms such as bloating, gas formation, skin reactions, and indigestion. Lactose is not broken down in the digestive system and promotes bacterial growth.

casein

Casein is similar to gluten in its action, they form clots in the intestines and impede digestion. There are two types of casein in milk – A1 and A2. A1 is more difficult to absorb and causes digestive problems.

Replacing dairy products today is not difficult at all. You can buy plant-based milk or make your own – soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, and others.
