Photos proving how cool push-ups can help you lose weight

Real stories of men who challenged their own bodies!

Blogger Jack Clancy Once I saw a video on the network in which people, completely different in occupation and physical form, staged a fitness test and did push-ups a hundred times a day. Jack, who at that time did not like his reflection in the mirror at all, decided to try this simple technique on himself, having arranged a challenge for himself for a whole year. And the purposeful man decided to share the results on the YouTube channel.

Since childhood, Clancy has been overweight. The cute fat man was not very much liked by his classmates and the girls did not notice at all. Plump and vulnerable, Jack suffered a lot and seized his grief with hamburgers and pizza. Which, of course, was not reflected in his figure: as a result, by the age of 17, he began to weigh 135 kg.

It cannot be said that Jack completely abandoned himself: from time to time he courageously fought with his kilograms: running, exhausting diets and starvation led to the fact that by the age of 33 the man still managed to lose weight up to 90 kg. It was then that he saw the video challenge and decided that he would start preparing for the push-up marathon.

Constant self-improvement helped Clancy change her attitude towards food. He almost with tears in his eyes renounced burgers, cola, muffins and mayonnaise, began to eat more plant foods. He also started counting calories consumed, controlling portion sizes, and stopped eating at night.

8 years ago / result for a year

For a year of daily push-ups, the man not only stopped recovering and was able to gain muscle mass, but also lost another 7 kg. By the end of the experiment, his weight dropped to 80 kilos – the last time, according to Clancy, he weighed so much in 10 years.

Today, yesterday’s fat man is not ashamed to walk down the street in a T-shirt and shorts, and the oncoming girls are increasingly looking after him. A man who has achieved such a result by his own efforts is so pleased that it inspires new achievements. And as you know, there is no limit to perfection.

An illustrative example is another blogger who did not suffer from excess weight and lack of attention in women, but at the same time also decided to systematically do push-ups. Sam can be called a real athlete: he went in for swimming for several years. But in recent years, the young man started himself a little, because of which the muscles decreased, and instead of the cubes, a sagging stomach appeared. So Sam decided to get serious about himself.

However, then he faced another problem – the high cost of training in fitness clubs with personal trainers. Then he came across that video on the network, where people shared their impressions of a month-long course of push-ups, which they did in any place convenient for them.

Sam wrote on his blog: “I was curious to know what would happen to me if I started doing push-ups like this every day – anywhere, anytime. One hundred push-ups a day – and no indulgences! “

At first it was very difficult for him: so many times Sam wanted to give up everything, but each time he forced himself to push up further. He did not succeed in a hundred repetitions the first time, so he broke the lesson into several approaches: he could do push-ups 20 times at home, at work or in a cafe, at first shocking colleagues and acquaintances.

We have to get used to not seeing the result right away. We live in a society that requires everything at once, but it was important for me to bide my time and see what I have become, ” Sam shared with his subscribers.

Push-ups have paid off. For a month, Sam noticeably pulled himself up, and after a year his tummy disappeared without a trace. And swimming lessons became more intense – the athlete’s endurance increased, and self-esteem increased significantly.
