People at risk
- The adults. Headaches affect both adults and children. They are more common and more intense in adults and peak until around the age of 40.
- The women. Tension headaches are most common in women and are often related to the menstrual cycle.
Risk factors
- The periods of the female menstrual cycle.
- Stress or anxiety.
- The Depression.
- Bad posture or prolonged maintenance of the same position.
- Bruxism (grinding of teeth).
