  • Poor appetite
  • Increased irritability;
  • Apathy.

Useful products for toxicosis

The basic rule is to prevent bouts of nausea. Usually, it manifests itself in the morning, as soon as the woman gets out of bed. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a light breakfast for yourself in advance and leave it by the bed, and then eat it without getting up. It can be dried apricots or raisins, nuts (they increase the level of hemoglobin and have a positive effect on the body of a pregnant woman) or crackers. You can drink tea with a cheese sandwich in order to saturate your body. You can not make sudden movements and, even more so, jump out of bed, but it is better to lie down and allow food to be assimilated. During the day, you need to eat often, but in small portions.

Long walks and proper nutrition also help. It is preferable to steam it, so the vitamins will be preserved, and the gastric mucosa will not be irritated. But you can also eat stewed, boiled and baked food.

  • Fresh fruits (kiwi, apples, lemon) and berries (cranberries, lingonberries, currants). They have a sour taste and are good for nausea.
  • Pickles, sauerkraut, herring pate fight vomiting. They also prevent dehydration and contain trace minerals such as sodium and chlorine.
  • You need to drink plenty of fluids in small portions. It is better to give preference to weak green tea (it contains less caffeine), fruit and berry juices, fruit drinks, compotes, mineral water without gas. They will not only saturate the body with fluid, but also with vitamins. You should have a bottle of water with lemon juice in your transport to help prevent sudden bouts of nausea caused by strong odors.
  • You can take herbal extracts of mint, lemon balm, motherwort or chamomile flowers, which are sold at the pharmacy. They have a calming effect and relieve stomach cramps.
  • With toxicosis, plant foods, cereals, and protein-rich foods are useful. We are talking about beans, grains, nuts, fish, seeds, dietary meat (rabbit, turkey, chicken).
  • It is necessary to eat varied and not to abuse one product, so as not to cause allergies in the newborn. All vegetables have beneficial properties and they are all desirable not only for the treatment of this disease, but also for the body of the mother and fetus. So, broccoli and green beans will help to replenish the lack of calcium in the body and restrain the increase in blood cholesterol levels, and carrots will help maintain hemoglobin levels. Pomegranate contains a lot of iron.
  • It is useful to eat vegetable soups, they replenish fluid.

Folk remedies for the treatment of toxicosis:

  • Honey. Take 1 tablespoon on an empty stomach. Do not abuse, so as not to provoke uterine tone.
  • Pumpkin – eat it in the form of porridge or drink a pumpkin decoction. It has antiemetic effects.
  • Citrus. 300 ml of grapefruit or orange juice per day not only saturate the body with useful substances, but also help the enzymatic systems cleanse the body of toxins.
  • A decoction of dried fruit without sugar and cranberry juice help to cope with attacks of nausea.
  • Rosehip infusion (1 tablespoon of fruits for 2 cups of boiling water is heated in a water bath for about 20 minutes and infused in a thermos for at least an hour) cleanses the body of toxins well. Drink infusion with a teaspoon of honey after meals, 100 ml in the morning and evening.
  • Peppermint candies and peppermint tea can help treat bouts of nausea in public.

Dangerous and harmful products with toxicosis
