Not just drinking: the benefits of green tea baths

The tea bath is a favorite and well-known ritual of Korean and Japanese women – they often pour tea infusion into the bath. Isn’t that why they look so delightfully young? Perhaps it is worth taking advantage of this trick and learning about its properties.

Relaxing effect

The properties of green tea are well known – it not only cleanses the body, but also soothes the nerves. A bath with the addition of green tea will relax our body and help in the fight against skin imperfections.

There is nothing like a relaxing bath. Especially now, when the pace of life has accelerated so much and the daily strss is attacking.

Cleopatra bathed in milk, and we also know mud bath lovers and even chocolate bath lovers. However, most women prefer to take a bath at home, add their favorite salt to warm water and enjoy the silence of a winter evening.

Have any of us ever considered using green tea instead of salt? It has a cleansing and relaxing effect, and most importantly – an inexpensive and luxurious beauty treatment!

The cleansing properties of green tea

The intrinsic properties of green tea infusion are well known. However, not everyone realizes how valuable it is from the outside – it will be ideal if we want to smooth the skin and overcome all the shortcomings. Thanks to the content of minerals and vitamins, it will make our skin not only cleansed, but, above all, softened, elastic, firm and taut – that is, the kind we all dream of.

How to make a green tea bath

  • At the very beginning, boil 1 liter of water in a saucepan, then wait until its temperature drops slightly and add green tea.
  • Pour the prepared infusion into the bath and fill it with warm water.
  • For a bath to have healing properties, it should last about 20 minutes.
  • After leaving, we must not forget how to moisturize the skin – thanks to this, we will avoid excessive drying out.

If you recommend a variety of green tea, it is better to use tea with the addition of quince or lemon – thanks to this, the bath will also have an aromatherapy effect. However, it is important that the leaves have a rich color and aroma.

Enjoy your bath!
