Migraine in early pregnancy: a sign of pregnancy?
Migraine in early pregnancy, during the first trimester, can be hormonal. However, this cause is not common, so migraine is not not especially a symptom of pregnancy.
Migraines, headaches and other headaches in early and mid-pregnancy are usually related to pregnancy fatigue.

Migraine in late pregnancy: a sign of hypertension in pregnancy?
If it does not last long and is easily relieved by rest or taking paracetamol in early or mid-pregnancy, migraine during the third trimester of pregnancy may be more problematic. Headaches, headaches and migraines in late pregnancy can indeed be a warning symptom of high blood pressure during pregnancy. It can itself be a sign of preeclampsia, a serious complication due to a dysfunction of the placenta.
We will therefore make absolutely sure to discuss these migraines at the end of pregnancy with his obstetrician-gynecologist or his midwife, so as not to miss a more serious pathology. Especially since an association between migraine during pregnancy and the risk of cerebrovascular accident (stroke) has been shown.
Migraine and pregnancy: is it a sign that it’s a girl or a boy?
Unfortunately (or fortunately), there are no outward physical signs or symptoms scientifically proven to be able to indicate whether one is expecting a girl or a boy. Just as the round or pointed belly does not say anything about the sex of the baby, migraine during pregnancy does not give any information about the sex of the baby. And that’s good, for those who prefer to keep the surprise!
