Make-up: the gestures to adopt this fall

A velvety complexion

Neat, unified and powdery, this fall, the complexion must be nickel. This is guaranteed by the powder foundations that are essential in most make-up collections. Compact or loose powder version, they give a double blow (no need to re-powder behind them), correct imperfections, unify the skin texture and offer a truly natural result. They instantly create a flawless, subtly powdery finish, without any mask or frozen effect. Non-drying, enriched with vegetable oils, they preserve the hydration of the epidermis. Very long lasting, they are resistant to water, sweat and humid climates. Their coverage is flexible and with them, touch-ups are easy. Some adapt to our healthy back-to-school look (luminous tanning effect) or to combination to oily skin (they control shine and regulate sebum). Our advice : For light coverage, apply them with a brush. More intense, prefer the sponge.

Appetizing cheeks

The blush is the subject of unbridled creativity. In large creamy pencil, in shape memory jelly (you can “heckle” it in all directions, it always resumes its initial shape), in cream powder which amplifies the natural color of the cheekbones or that of the blush, in packaging in cupcake-shaped, scented, in greaseproof or powder… It is very present this fall. Pink or apricot, the cheeks are also one of the rare points of the face that can remain satin. Our advice : choose a coral or pinkish brown tone if you want to brighten up your tan. Most of these blushes can be applied equally under or over foundation.

Push-up eyelashes

As effective for multiplying or shaping our eyelashes as they are beautiful to look at, the new mascaras have it all! Adorned with flowers, oriental patterns on an ebony background, with “swan neck” stems or voluptuous rounded brushes… our favorite make-up product becomes a tool of “high desirability”. Refinement and technicality are at the rendezvous: eyeliner mascara, collagen formulas, neo-mat black pigments… The make-up result is up to par and… we finally have fun showing it off! Our advice : the volume is so spectacular that one coat is enough.

Eyelids: 50 shades of gray

Dove gray or Parisian sky, smoke or anthracite, pearl or mauve like a storm… Gray is the fashion bias of the season. With its hidden sensuality, the eye shadow, a little neglected lately, is making a comeback. Easy to wear, gray is a real eye-catcher. Our advice : play with shades (dark on the mobile eyelid, light under the arch) and satin, matte, metallic or glitter textures.

A matte mouth

The tones can be soft (baby pink, nude…) or intense (raspberry, poppy red, candy pink…), but the texture of your lipstick must be matte, it’s the detail that counts this fall! Especially since they do not dry out the lips, glide comfortably and flexibly, offer long-lasting hold and a soft and smooth “petal” finish. Reserve dark reds (and especially not glossy) with fleshy mouths. The natural nude beige shades only go to the already well-defined lips. Our advice : if matte red scares you, apply it to the heart of the lips and stretch it with your finger. You can also draw your lips with a universal pencil after applying your lipstick, to create a barrier effect that prevents the lipstick from leaking out.
