Lille Christmas market

Christmas market in Lille: wooden chalets in the city center

Close

In the heart of the city of Lille, Place Rihour, 83 chalets are full of gift ideas for the whole family: santons, decorations for the tree and especially local products. There are local specialties, but also Russian and Native American crafts. Without forgetting the authentic gingerbread and other delicacies, which you can take away or taste on site with the traditional mulled wine. On the Grand Place, families will not believe their eyes in front of the Big Wheel which turns majestically and dominates the city. At an altitude of 50 meters, its 36 nacelles offer an incredible view of the streets of Lille. At its feet, a huge decor spreads out over the entire square to recreate a village under the snow, dominated by a giant fir tree 18 meters high. Further on, in Old Lille, visitors discover beautifully decorated streets.

Many activities will also be set up for children.
