Once I was 20 years old, I graduated from the country’s leading economic university, interned in the best companies, and a bright corporate future and corresponding career prospects loomed ahead.
And then there was marriage and the birth of the first child. These events were not just the happiest moments of my life, but defining this very life. Soon a second son and a younger daughter appeared in our family. For ten years now I have been living with children and children, in my family and in my work. For ten years now I have been living, studying and working, remembering and studying the wonderful world of childhood, delving into this world. Lots of books, courses, mentors. And — to think, think, think … Because in pedagogy you cannot replace your own thought with anything, no methods, no knowledge, not even experience. “I want you to understand that no book, no doctor can replace your own living thought, your own view. (…) In wise loneliness — stay awake ”(J. Korchak). Real creativity began, with which no other activity and work can be compared for me.
At one fine moment, I realized that I can work with other children — I have something to share, I have something to give. I love children, understand, respect, and this is mutual. Then classes began — first a scientific circle, and then our own center for child development. “Knowing is not enough, teach a child to think,” I said. Because this is actually the main thing in learning. And in life. And it’s also important to study with interest, live strong and fun, make friends and play. All this we do in the Children’s Science Club. The children and I are good together. Moms and dads are good because the children are good. We achieve results, we grow and change. I know a lot about children, and I never get tired of discovering new things.
Another big project of mine is the Stupenki coaching system for parents. The idea of a «university for parents» was born in the course of counseling the families of my students. Time after time, I have observed that parents, good, loving parents, lack some of the knowledge and techniques that will make them good educators as well. We master this knowledge and techniques at the «university of parenthood», on the «Steps». By the way, I would like to thank Alexey Melnikov, director of the Counseling and Coaching Center, and my respected mentor Nikolai Ivanovich Kozlov, with whose support the project «Steps» was launched (and is actively functioning).
What else do I live now? I study at the University of Practical Psychology. The unique program of the university is such that students receive not only professional knowledge, but also work on personal growth. We are moving forward in all directions.
Now I feel like a happy person. I have a Family, Business and Development — for me this is what is called harmony. «Go ahead, love and do business, not leaving yourself for later.» Special thanks for this feeling of harmony — to my spouse, who supports me always and in everything. For me, a woman whose main value is the family, there is nothing more important than this support and understanding.
My main theme is how to understand children and what to do with it later, how to live happily with children. Also — education and development of pre-adolescent children. In fact, upbringing and education are inextricably linked: by teaching — we always educate, by educating — we teach.
