Karl Lagerfeld’s diet
 

One day, Mr. Lagerfeld just wanted to wear clothes designed by the designer of the Dior men’s line, Hedi Slimane. Nutritionist Jean-Claude Udre took over. He created a diet for Lagerfeld called the 3D Diet, which took into account both the age of the famous patient and his state of health. And the name was deciphered very simply: “Designer. Doctor. Diet”.

The main principles of this diet: Less than a year later, Monsieur Lagerfeld returned to his 60 kg. And this is with an increase of 180 centimeters! Karl Lagerfeld got rid of serious “excess” weight, but he did not have big cosmetic problems, because he was losing his pounds slowly – one a week. 

Menu for the week

Breakfast: 1 slice of plain flour bread,

half a teaspoon of semi-fat butter,

2 low-fat yogurt

You can drink still mineral water and herbal infusions without sugar between breakfast and lunch.

 

Lunch: Some vegetables. A salad flavored with a light sauce, plus a protein shake is also suitable.

For dinner: Lettuce and vegetables can be enjoyed in unlimited quantities. Stewed fish is served with them: tuna, sea bass or sole. White chicken meat, sushi, vegetable soup with shrimps and herbs.

Attention: a glass of dry red wine (!) will not hurt.

But what about the feeling of hunger, you ask? Do not be surprised, the feeling of hunger rather psychologically affects the body than physiologically. If the body requires vitamins and minerals, give it, but only the essentials. And the body can declare war if you are not psychologically ready for change.

The conclusions that Lagerfeld himself made from his diet:

1. Do not go on a diet just because you want something new from life or for the sake of love. In addition, new love for losing weight is not a friend. Quite the opposite: the object of desire will occupy all your thoughts, and you will not be able to focus on your diet. First, decide what you need. And only then – for the diet!

2. Don’t let your friends and family know about your plans. Their curiosity will only distract and discourage you, so you will have to break out of your usual social circle for a while.

3. For a dietary table, it is better to buy food on your own and with pleasure. Choose them by “turning on” all the senses.

4. It is also necessary to set the table with pleasure. And beautiful.

5. Walk more. Sport is, of course, a good thing, but it’s pretty silly to drive someone who is already under constant stress to workout. Losing calories is hard work, and after exercise you feel hungry.

Losing pounds is hard work. Especially if the time of the first youth is long gone. And the second too. The famous couturier Karl Lagerfeld, at 64, lost 42 kg in a year.
