Jillian Michaels – Shed extra (Extreme Shed & Shred)

Program Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred will help you lose weight and get in good shape. Training, despite the “extreme” name, can not be called extreme, so it is suitable for intermediate level of physical fitness. About the program Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred

The program has nothing to do with popular training 30 Day Shred, the similarity of the names should not be alarming. Extreme Shed & Shred is a workout with a completely different approach, however, is no less effective than the classic “Sredakh”. The program is built on the basis of exercises from kickboxing, JIU-jitsu and yoga with the addition of standard elements of strength training. Aerobic exercises here too, but they are not the basis of the program, so “Extreme sredy” are not exhausting exercise.

The course consists of two levels, the first is not so complicated that it can perform, and beginners in fitness. The first level lasts 40 minutes, the second a little longer – about 50 minutes. For a workout you only need dumbbells from 1 to 5 kg depending on your fitness. Gillian gives precise recommendations of how long to run the program, but we recommend to switch to a more difficult level as soon as you feel that first level is very easy.

Load that offers Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred, can not be called weak. Rather, it is simply gentle and less intense than we’re used to seeing in her fitness programs. About training like say, “thoughtful” and balanced when you don’t sweat from exhaustion, but you feel the tension in every muscle of your body. If you doubt the effectiveness of “Extreme sredy”, try to merge it with another program Jillian Michaels or choose a more serious workout.

The advantages of the program:

  • through the use of elements of yoga, kickboxing, and JIU-jitsu program consists of interesting original exercises
  • the lesson takes place at a low pace, so those who do not like the numerous jumping, Extreme Shed & Shred will like
  • there are stretching exercises and balance, which will allow you to develop flexibility and concentration
  • training “Throw an extra” exhaust the body, so you can follow it even in the morning before work, for example.

The disadvantages of the program:

  • some combinations of exercises are very original and challenging enough for the repetitions;
  • no version in Russian language
  • the program is more designed for “thoughtful” and not intense load, so someone may seem easy and inefficient (especially the first level).

Such training as Extreme Shed & Shred is very useful for your body. Of course they will not help you to burn maximum number of calories in a short period of time or a quick shake metabolism. But they will allow you to bring your muscle tone, improve your flexibility, to explore new original features and just to enjoy a balanced fitness program.
