Is it possible to freeze jellied meat

Reading time – 3 minutes.

Even tasty dishes sometimes remain, and jellied meat is no exception, especially considering that there is simply no point in cooking a little jellied meat. Before placing it in the freezer, you must choose a container with a tight lid so that the smells present in the chamber cannot seep inside. Then the container with jellied meat should be well wrapped with cling film. In this form, the dish will be able to retain its taste and properties. Jellied meat should be defrosted closed in the refrigerator. It is best to get the jelly out of the freezer in advance, in the evening. Before eating, keep in mind that the dish will no longer look as uniform as before freezing. But it will make great “derivatives”: aspic, first courses, salads.

If you cooked jellied meat with the expectation of freezing, it may be more compact to store it in plastic bags for freezing. If you want to serve the dish, you just have to defrost the jellied meat, boil for a couple of minutes and pour it into the molds again.
