The space of a one-room apartment is not as small as it sometimes seems. It can even comfortably accommodate more than one inhabitant. There are, however, several conditions: thoughtful planning, use of multifunctional furniture and willingness to compromise.

Since the room was set up for a young family, the designer provided for three functional areas: a bedroom, a living room and an office. “Premises” are distributed as follows. A bed was placed in a niche, or rather, a mattress, the basis for which is a podium.

There is little space left between the wall and the head of the mattress. In this “surplus” they built a curbstone – a stand for lamps and books. The central part of the room is allocated for the living room, formed by upholstered furniture and an obligatory TV. Well, quite at the window, they placed an office – a small folding table, to which one of the poufs moves. By the way, if necessary, you can eat at this table.

Finally, the final touch is the dressing room. It seems that she is not in the room at all. But in fact, behind the ledge on which the TV is fixed, there is an impressive cabinet, divided into male and female halves.

• In order not to overload an already functionally rich room, the walls were painted neutral White color. Thoughtful red and black accents brought a bit of brightness to the room. • A light bookcase is attached to the wall right at the head of the bed. The shelves are not particularly wide, but they are enough to accommodate the little things you need. As for the wooden tray for breakfast in bed, as a result of a slight transformation, it turns into a stand for reading books.

• The wardrobe, made according to the designer’s sketches, is divided into two completely equal parts. They were equipped with everything necessary for storing things: clothes rails, shelves, drawers. Plaid (Gant), 6820 rubles., “Eurodom”.
• The designer specifically chose a folding table so that it can be folded and hidden behind the curtain. Thanks to these simple manipulations, a little more free space appears in the room. Do not think that an interior designed for a young woman should be based on the same color combinations as for a teenage girl. In this case, the designer opted for a reasonable compromise between rich green and neutral white. In addition, she used black accents.

As for the functional zoning, the room is divided into three “rooms”: a bedroom-living room, an office and a dressing room. Of course, each of them has a certain space assigned according to the “status”. The largest area is occupied by a double bed (which is also a sofa) and a home theater centered around it. A little less space – in a niche – is reserved for storing things. Finally, just a little bit of home office.

• When arranging the workplace, not a single superfluous item was used – only the most necessary: ​​a narrow, but equipped with a sufficiently deep table top, several shelves fixed to the wall with tires, a table lamp with a variable angle of rotation and two stools. And to distribute magazines, papers and other small things necessary for work or leisure in places, folders-racks and cardboard boxes allow. Stool “Evert” (IKEA), 239 rubles.

• Dresses take a special place in a woman’s life. True, they had to make room for them – only a spacious niche was allocated for them. The dressing room was arranged on the basis of shelving. Some of the shelves were equipped with plastic containers, and some were replaced with clothes rails. There was even room for a large mirror with lamps on both sides. • The feminine character of a room is shaped not only by color, but also by material. It is no coincidence that there are a lot of textiles here. And even the wallpaper in a small cage, which is pasted over one of the walls, looks more like matter.

• There is no sofa in the room. However, the hostess does not feel a special need for it – a comfortable seating area is created by decorative pillows and a soft headboard with a removable cover. Everyone understands the minuses of a bachelor life in their own way, but the pluses, as they say, are obvious. One of them is the ability to equip the interior without looking at anyone else. For example, in a rather voluminous niche, you can arrange, if not a whole hookah room, then at least a small hookah corner.

It will be so great to sit with friends, and sometimes to work on a low but soft podium, abundantly “strewn” with decorative pillows! And it is better to replace the bed with a mattress on wheels that retract under the podium. As for the coloristic solution, then here, too, you can take radically bold steps. Why not opt ​​for a combination of black and white? This slightly daring color scheme will be supported by the original “paintings” made of personal belongings, wallpaper patterns and laconic chopped furniture: a bar counter with a pair of high chairs and either poufs or small coffee tables.

• There is not much furniture in the room. Of the purely functional furnishings, perhaps only a wardrobe is present here. On the other hand, almost all possible means of home entertainment are generously presented, including a game console. Instead of chairs or armchairs, it comes with a pair of hard poufs.
