How to use lavender

Lavender is sometimes referred to as the “Swiss Army Knife” of essential oils, as it can be used in so many different ways. Mother Nature has created countless ways to use this fragile plant in our daily lives. Here are just some of them: 1) Dilute 10-12 drops of lavender essential oil in 1 cup of water, pour into a spray bottle. 2). You can use lavender essential oil as a light perfume – just put a drop behind each ear, on your wrists and neck. 3). Add a few drops of lavender oil to a warm bath. For more flavor, you can substitute the cap with oil under running water. This bath has a relaxing effect. four) . The ointments and creams you use for these ailments can be diluted with lavender oil for best results. 4) . An excellent natural deodorant is baking soda, taken as a base, plus lavender oil. 5). Fill small vases with fresh sprigs of deep purple lavender to create a cozy feel in the room. You can mix lavender flowers with other decorative sprigs. 6). Pour dry lavender leaves into a small bowl or basket and place in your bathroom, bedroom or living room. From time to time, renew the leaves for a more intense flavor. You can also make small mesh bags, fill them with dried lavender leaves and store them in your laundry closet. For sound sleep, put a couple of drops (do not overdo it) of lavender essential oil on your pillow.
