Spices and condiments can add flavor to even the simplest dishes. An example is cinnamon – it adds additional flavors to baked goods and other desserts, as well as some main dishes.

Cupcake with apples and cinnamon

You will need: – 2 large apples; – 3 eggs; – 1 tbsp. flour; – 3/4 Art. Sahara; – 200 g of oil; – 1 bag of dry yeast; – 1/2 cinnamon stick; – 3 tbsp. l. icing sugar.

Citrus lovers can add candied fruit or grated lemon zest to this muffin.

Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Grind the cinnamon in a coffee grinder to a powder. You can also use a food processor to grind the spice. Break eggs into a bowl, add sugar and yeast, mix. Gradually add flour to the dough. Melt the butter and pour in the same. Leave the dough to stand for half an hour, then put the crushed apples and cinnamon into it. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the dough with apples into it. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cake for half an hour. The readiness of the dough can be checked by piercing it with a knife. If the knife remains dry, your cupcake is ready. Immediately remove the finished cake from the mold and cut into portions, sprinkling with powdered sugar. Serve with tea or coffee.

The rather simple taste of pork becomes more interesting if you add cinnamon to it.

You will need: – 400 g of pork tenderloin; – 1 onion; – 2-3 cloves of garlic; – a bunch of fresh coriander; – olive oil; – 1 tbsp. l. dijon mustard; – 1/2 cinnamon stick; – 1h l. cumin; – 30 bread crumbs; – 1/2 tsp. hot red pepper; – 2 large potatoes; – 1 carrot; – 30 g butter; – 100 ml of milk; – salt.

Grind the cinnamon in a coffee grinder to a powder. Combine cinnamon with cumin and pepper, adding a little salt. Dip the pork in this mixture. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and fry the pork in it on all sides until half cooked. Place the meat in a greased baking dish.

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash and chop the coriander, mix with the onion and garlic. Fry this mixture in a meat saucepan. Put the breadcrumbs there and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Brush the meat with mustard and sprinkle with a mixture of onions, garlic and bread crumbs. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the meat in it. Roast the pork for half an hour. Turn the meat 10 minutes before the end of cooking. After cooking, wait 10 minutes and then cut the pork into portions.

To make the meat more juicy, you can cover it with foil in a baking dish.

Prepare a side dish. Peel potatoes and carrots, boil them in salted water for 20 minutes. Mashed potatoes and carrots: add butter, milk and salt to vegetables and mash with a fork. Serve the pork with a serving of mashed potatoes.
