How to quickly and easily cook chicken nuggets
 

Nuggets are pieces of fillet in a crispy breading, a dish that is not difficult to prepare and is acceptable to people of completely different preferences. Chicken nuggets are a versatile food when you need to quickly satisfy your hunger. 

They prepare like this. To prepare nuggets, they take chicken meat – fillet or thigh, soak it in kefir, soy sauce or lemon juice to make them juicy.

After the nuggets are dipped in a beaten egg, and then rolled in breading – and immediately spread on a hot frying pan, where enough oil is heated, like in deep fat. For nugget breading, you can use regular bread crumbs, crushed cornflakes, or crumb crumbs. Salt and spices are added.

Nuggets can be baked in the oven, they will be drier, but less high in calories.

 

Chicken nuggets are usually served with sauce – tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, sweet and sour.

Nuggets is translated from English as “gold nugget”. You will understand the meaning of this phrase when you learn the history of the appearance of nuggets. After all, they first appeared during the California Gold Rush in 1850. The food was convenient, did not require any serving, and was prepared quickly. And they named it because of the resemblance to real gold nuggets, which at that time filled the minds of those who wanted to get rich quickly. 

Well, the American scientist Robert Baker strengthened the popularity of nuggets and pledged commercial success for them in the restaurant industry. In the 1950s, his nugget recipe appeared in print.

For their preparation, Baker recommends mixing minced chicken fillet with a special food additive that makes it thicker and more sticky. For frying, the scientist invented and used a special breading that did not lose its crisp properties and did not crumble after freezing.
