Knowing how to properly wash your underwear can extend its lifespan.

The intimate arsenal of a modern woman is represented by many models of panties of different styles. And in order not to spoil beautiful things, you need to know how to properly wash your underwear.

First, the panties need to be disassembled by color and type of fabric. There should be six groups: cotton, synthetics, silk, black, color and white.

Washing rules are very simple:

  • cotton can be washed safely in an automatic machine. It retains its shape perfectly and is not subject to shedding. White items can be washed at +90, for colored items the maximum limit is +40;
  • it is advisable to wash synthetics and silk by hand, without much effort. Things need to be soaked for a short time in soapy water, and then rubbed, rinsed and gently wrung out;
  • Lace panties also require maximum respect; they are washed by hand in cool water and gently wrung out without twisting.

How to wash your underwear also matters. Keep in mind the following:

  • it is better to choose a liquid powder, since the product is completely rinsed out;
  • for white synthetics, bleaches should not be used, as they can lead to the destruction of the fibers of the fabric.

You can dry cotton panties in a dryer, but it is advisable to lay out silk and synthetics on a soft cloth, such as a terry towel. In this form, they will retain their original shape.

The wrong wash can easily destroy a chic lace item, turning it into a pathetic rag. Here are some tips to help you avoid this transformation:

  • pitted cottons can be machine washed safely. Before launching, they will need to be sorted and must be fastened. If there are special devices for washing – nets, bags or spheres, then it is better to use them;
  • Washing bras with underwire in a typewriter is highly undesirable. It is better to wash them by hand;
  • it is not recommended to use bleaches in the washing process. This can damage the fabric;
  • bras made of silk, lace, synthetic fabrics and equipped with a push-up system cannot be machine washed. Hand wash only. Things must be soaked in soapy water, wait a little and wash gently with your hands. It is recommended to squeeze out with a towel, gently blotting the fabric.

Dry bras unfolded on a horizontal surface.

The rules for washing an intimate wardrobe are quite simple; if you follow them, then your favorite kits will delight you for a very long time.
