How to pickle onions

Onions are useful, everyone knows that. But not everyone likes its taste. Another thing is if the onions are pickled. The taste will become softer and more pleasant, and the very smell due to which many refuse to eat onions will also diminish.

Here are a couple of tasty and quick options:

Lemon marinade 

Mix the juice of 1 large lemon with 50 ml of hot water (not boiling water), add a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar, a teaspoon of vegetable oil and ground pepper to taste, stir everything. Peel and cut two large onions into half rings, cover with marinade.

 

After 30 minutes, the pickled onions are ready to eat.

Marinade with vinegar

Cut a couple of large onions into half rings. Pour 250 gr into a saucepan. water, add 3 tbsp. sugar, a teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil, pour in 60 gr. vinegar 9% and turn off. Pour the prepared onion with this marinade. As soon as the onion marinade has cooled, the onion is ready to eat.
