How to make the new trendy fluffy coffee
 

If you have an account on at least some social network, you have probably already stumbled upon a photo of a two-color coffee drink in a transparent glass, as if it was prepared for a fairy. Its top resembles a meringue and it is called “fluffy coffee” (fluffy ). 

Its history began in February in South Korea. Then videos about this drink appeared on the Web, some of which gained more than 4 million views. The attention was attracted by an unusual and simply fabulous view, incredible cuteness and photogenicity, as well as the relative ease of preparation. 

And when coffee shops closed their doors due to the coronavirus and people wanted not only delicious, but also intricate coffee made at home, the popularity of “fluffy coffee” increased even more. Prepare it and you!

Fluffy coffee recipe

Ingredients: 

 
  • Instant coffee (powder) – 2 teaspoons
  • Sugar – 2 teaspoons
  • Hot water – 50 milliliters
  • Milk
  • Ice

Method of preparation: 

  1. First whisk the instant coffee vigorously with hot water and sugar until frothy. You can do this with a whisk or mixer. 
  2. Pour cold milk into a mug, ice can be added. 
  3. Put the resulting foam on the milk. 

Fluffy coffee is ready!

“I think this is the drink that is the most distracting drink in the world right now,” said Los Angeles Times columnist Ben Mims. “For its preparation, we use those ingredients that everyone already has in their pantry, by chance or on purpose. You cook them to achieve that light fluff that makes us feel like we have created magic, ”he added, seemingly seriously carried away by the new trendy drink.
