How to make puffed rice
 

You’ve probably noticed this simple dessert on supermarket shelves more than once. Children love this delicacy. You can cook puffed rice yourself at home.

  • Rinse the rice and steam it until it remains firm and crumbly enough to not turn into a viscous porridge.
  • Spread the cooked rice on a towel and leave to dry overnight.
  • Fry the dried rice in a dry skillet.
  • Heat vegetable oil nearby, add salt, sugar and honey to it.
  • Put the rice in the oil.
  • As soon as it swells, take it out on a plate with a slotted spoon.
  • Let the cooked rice cool and put it in the refrigerator.
