How to make homemade mayonnaise
 

This is one of the most popular sauces you can make yourself. For this you need a minimum of ingredients and very little time. Of course, it’s easier to buy mayonnaise in a store, but let’s not delve into the facts that in a pack with factory mayonnaise, you will find a lot of fat, stabilizers, flavor enhancers and dyes. Therefore, do not be lazy and get started.

You will need: 1 egg yolk, 150 ml odorless vegetable oil, a teaspoon of sweet mustard, a teaspoon of white wine vinegar, salt and lemon juice to taste.

Process: Mix the yolk with mustard and salt, stir with a whisk. Stir constantly, start adding vegetable oil in a thin stream. When the mixture becomes fluffy and creamy, add wine vinegar and a little lemon juice, stir. Correct the taste of mayonnaise with salt – the sauce is ready!
