How to make flavored salt yourself
 

Salt is needed in the kitchen every day. The most useful marine. And the most beautiful and appetizing one is flavored. And if flavored salt is prepared on the basis of sea salt, it has no price. 

Just imagine how you season grilled meat not with ordinary salt, but, for example, with herbal salt – both the taste and smell are immediately intensified. And how spectacular a glass jar with flavored salt looks in the kitchen is exquisite and expensive. You can give such a gift, manual work is still, especially unusual. 

By the way, regular salt can also be the basis for flavored salt.  

How and with what to cook

It is very simple to prepare flavored salt: it is interrupted with a blender or coffee grinder (you can also use a mortar) with spices that you choose to your taste. Spices give it their taste, color and smell, they become a single whole. Here are some of the most delicious combinations:

 
  • Dried herbs – with them salt will help set off the taste of meat. These are thyme, rosemary, oregano, garlic, mint, lavender, basil.
  • Специи – add this salt to stewed vegetables. Cumin, fennel, coriander, paprika, turmeric, or chili.
  • Dried chopped mushrooms – salt with this aroma is suitable for side dishes, omelets and julienne.
  • Dried Chopped Citrus Peel – suitable for frying poultry, vegetables and seafood.
