How to get rid of wool on clothes

Even the most adorable cat or cat is sometimes able to piss off the mistress. Especially if they slept on their favorite black blouse and she began to look just awful. How to get rid of wool on clothes quickly and efficiently? What to do when the cat sheds and hair is literally everywhere?

Let’s take a look at a few proven methods of cleaning sticky cat hair from clothing:

  • if there is not a lot of wool on the clothes (or upholstered furniture), the easiest way to clean it is to wet your palm and run it over the fabric until it is completely cleaned. Wool stuck to the hand should be washed off periodically. This method is not suitable for winter weather, because it is unreasonable to go outside in wet clothes in frost;
  • if you have a vacuum cleaner with a turbo brush, you can quickly clean both clothes and furniture, carpets;
  • well cleans clothes from cat hair with a special sticky roller on the handle;
  • if there is no such roller at home, you can cut off a strip of wide adhesive tape and use it to clean the fabric. First you need to stick the tape to the clothes, and then carefully peel it off. All wool will stick to the tape, and dust with small specks at the same time. In case of heavy contamination, the operation will have to be repeated several times;
  • by running the back of a plastic comb over the clothes, you can collect the hairs due to the electrifying effect. You can also tie several plastic combs together and run them over your clothing;
  • if the cat has slept on things long enough, and the hair is short and cannot be removed completely by all of the above methods (or the clothes are expensive and you are afraid to damage them), the only way out is to contact the dry cleaner, where it will be returned to its normal appearance.

In order to think as little as possible about how to get rid of the cat’s fur, you need to devote more time to caring for it. It is worth buying a special slicker comb at the pet store, choosing its type, taking into account the length of the pet’s coat, and combing it out regularly. If the cat is very fluffy, for example, the Persian breed, then comb it out during molting at least three times a day. This can be tedious and time-consuming, especially if the cat is not comfortable with the procedure, but the hair on the clothes will be much less furry.

If you have neither the time nor the enthusiasm to constantly comb your pet, it is better to have a hairless cat, such as a Sphynx or Devon Rex, then the problem of wool on clothes and interior items will be completely solved.
