In February 2019, Tik Tok was fined $ 5,7 million in the United States by the Federal Trade Commission, the United States government’s consumer protection agency. What is he criticized for? The platform is said to have collected personal data from children under the age of 13. Also, the application is accused of encouraging narcissism and hypersexualization among its users. In India, moreover, the government plans to ban access to the mobile application. The reason ?
