Partial blockage cleaning

Once a year, for preventive purposes, it is recommended to clean the drain device to avoid clogging. The same procedure is carried out in the case when the water is not drained as intensively as before, or intermittently. For this you need:

  • buy a special product in the store that is suitable for the brand of the washing machine, or use ordinary baking soda;
  • pour the agent in the indicated volume, and soda weighing about 150 g directly into the drum;
  • turn on the machine in the light wash or cotton mode without loading any laundry into it.

The procedure can be repeated one more time if you are not sure that the first one helped thoroughly. If the machine was purchased from an unverified manufacturer or its service life is close to completion, it is better to use soda that does not so aggressively affect the gaskets and joints.

Preventive cleaning significantly prolongs the service life of the machine and prevents unpleasant odors from the drain.
