How to wash a bath from rust with hydrochloric acid?
Stains formed by prolonged contact of the bath surface with water can be removed with hydrochloric acid. This product is sold in hardware stores. It is dangerous, so care must be taken when handling it.
When starting to process the bath, you need to protect all chrome-plated surfaces: shower handle, hose, faucet from hydrochloric acid. To do this, they are wrapped in cellophane wrap. Wearing gloves, soak a clean cloth with acid and blot the contaminated surface.
Important! When working with acid, do not use a paint brush, as small splashes can enter the eyes, causing serious harm.
After 10-15 minutes, the bath should be rinsed with warm water, washed thoroughly with a household cleaning agent: dishwashing liquid, soap or washing powder and rinsed again.
