How to choose soy sauce
 

Soy sauce can be used not only when eating Japanese cuisine, it is ideal for dressing salads and meat dishes, and in addition to its taste, it also has beneficial properties – it improves digestion, is rich in zinc and B vitamins. When buying soy sauce, pay attention to the following moments:

1. Choose a sauce in a glass container – a high-quality sauce is not packed in plastic, in which it loses its taste and useful properties.

2. Check the integrity of the lid in the sauce – everything must be airtight and free from defects, otherwise bacteria can get into the sauce and spoil it.

3. The composition of soy sauce should be free of flavorings, flavor enhancers, preservatives and colorants. The composition should be as simple and natural as possible: soybeans, wheat, water, salt.

 

4. The soy sauce is produced by fermentation, which should be indicated on the label.

5. The color of soy sauce cannot always be assessed before purchasing it, and yet. Soy sauce should be light brown to dark brown. Black and bright orange colors indicate a fake sauce.

6. Store sealed sauce in the refrigerator.
