How long uiro to cook?

In a deep bowl, combine 120 grams of rice flour, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and two cups of warm boiled water. From the resulting mixture, you need to knead a soft and elastic dough. Pinch off pieces of dough and roll small balls out of it. Flatten each ball, put chocolate in the center of the cake and roll the ball again. Steam for 10 minutes, then roll the hot uiro in sesame or coconut.

Products

Rice flour – 120 grams

Corn (or rice) starch – 1 teaspoon

Grated or crushed chocolate – 50 grams

Sesame (or coconut) – to taste

Powdered sugar – 30 grams

Water (warm boiled) – 4 tablespoons

Water – 2 glasses

How to cook uiro

1. Combine flour with powdered sugar and starch, adding a little warm boiled water, knead the dough. It should be soft, elastic. You can drop food coloring into the water for the dough – the dessert will be colored.

2. Pinch off pieces of dough, roll small balls out of it.

3. Flatten each ball, put chocolate in the center of the cake and roll the ball again. To make the uiro different in shape, you can place the pieces of dough in silicone molds covered with vegetable oil on the inside, then carefully remove.

 

How to cook uiro in a saucepan

1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan, place a colander (or a special perforated insert) on top, put the prepared uiro into it, close the lid. Steam for 10 minutes.

2. Dip the sesame seeds (or coconut) while still hot.

How to cook uiro in a slow cooker

Put the formed uiro in a multicooker bowl, set the cooking mode to steam and cook for 15 minutes.

Put the uiro in a double boiler and cook for 15 minutes.

Microwaving uiro

Place the formed uiro in a microwave-safe bowl and place it in the oven for 7 minutes, setting the power to 500 W.
