How long to cook antlers?

How to make black rice porridge with deer horns

1. Wash black rice, soak in cold water for 10 hours in a volume of water 5-7 times the volume of rice.

2. Wash the deer horns, soak in cold water, set aside for an hour.

3. Wash the soaked mushrooms again, remove the hard stems, cut the rest into medium pieces of any shape.

4. Rinse the dates, remove the seeds.

5. Peel ginkgo biloba seeds.

6. Chop the walnuts, break the kernels into several medium pieces.

7. Peel the peanuts with your hands.

8. Drain the rice and rinse it.

9. In a saucepan, pour fresh water at the rate of three glasses of water per glass of rice, put rice.

10. Place a saucepan with black rice on a moderate heat until it boils.

11. Put deer horns, candy, dates, gingko biloba seeds, walnuts, peanuts to the rice, mix.

12. Switch the heat to low, keep on the burner for 50-60 minutes with the lid ajar, stirring occasionally.

 

Sweet soup with deer horns and Chinese pear

Products

Deer horns – 50 grams

Chinese wolfberry (goji) berries – 10 pieces, can be replaced with dried cherries or dogwood, in the same amount

Chinese pear – 2 pieces

Lollipop – 1 piece weighing 10 grams

How to Make Sweet Reindeer Horns and Chinese Pear Soup

1. Sort out deer horns, clean from forest debris, wash.

2. Soak the antlers in water for 1 hour.

3. Wash the soaked antlers again, remove the hard legs, cut the rest into medium-sized pieces of any shape.

4. Put the antlers in a saucepan, pour water so that its volume is twice the volume of the mushrooms.

5. Place a saucepan with deer horns over moderate heat and bring water to a boil.

6. Reduce heat to low, simmer antlers for 20-30 minutes, until they soften.

7. Wash the Chinese pear, cut the core, cut into cubes 3 centimeters thick.

8. Rinse Chinese wolfberry berries in cold water.

9. When the deer horns are softened, put a lollipop, Chinese pear, Chinese wolfberry berries to them, keep on the fire for another 15-20 minutes.
