How eating milk products affects your heart

Interesting results came from a study on cheese and dairy products that lasted 25 years. It was carried out by scientists from the University of Eastern Finland.

They observed 2 participants for a quarter of a century. And these studies have shown that eating cheese can help lower your risk of heart disease.

Basically, all fermented dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, kefir and cottage cheese have a beneficial effect on heart health by normalizing cholesterol levels.

According to the data obtained, people with the highest consumption of fermented dairy products containing less than 3,5% fat were 26% less likely to suffer from heart attacks.

The most popular among the participants was kefir, people used it most often.

Why fermented foods have such benefits, scientists have not yet explained. This may be due to compounds formed during the fermentation process.

However, not all foods that were originally milk have this benefit. So, butter or ice cream, unfortunately, do not have such benefits.
