Heh from beef tripe

Tripe heh is a Korean dish. Any trebuha is suitable: beef, pork, lamb. He is being prepared in several stages.

Preparation of tripe

To cleanse the tripe and remove the unpleasant odor, it is soaked in a saline solution. Water should cover the tripe, salt will be enough for 2 tbsp. spoons. Soak for 3 hours, then replace the solution with a new one. 3 treatments are carried out. For the 4th time, vinegar is added to the solution. After 3 hours, the tripe is washed and boiled for 1,5-2 hours. Cool, cut into strips or bars.

 

Cooking heh

Pickled onion cut into half rings in vinegar (70%) for 10-15 minutes. For 2 onions – 1 tsp. vinegar. The amount of onions is half the offal. Stir the onion, tripe and 2 cloves of chopped garlic.

Spicy vegetable oil is prepared: heated in a frying pan, ground spices (red hot peppers, coriander and sesame seeds, paprika) are added. Without letting it boil, remove the oil from the fire, fill it with heh. To taste – soy sauce, fried sesame seeds, herbs. The dish is kept in the refrigerator for a day, under the lid.
