Easy recipe: the marbled cake to make with the children

Chocolate marble cake : the 4-handed recipe (child-adult)

For 8-10 people Preparation: 20 min Cooking: 40 min

Ingredients:

200 g of softened butter, 200 g of sugar, 4 eggs, 200 g of flour, 1 sachet of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 1 knife tip of vanilla seeds, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of cocoa powder, 10 g of butter and 1 tsp. teaspoon flour for the mold

Utensils:

2 salad bowls, 1 whisk, 1 wooden spoon, 1 maryse, 1 cake mold of 24 centimeters)

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (th. 6).

2. Pour the softened butter into the bowl, then add the sugar.

3. Mix well with a whisk.

4. Add the eggs one at a time.

5. Mix well with a whisk between each egg.

6. Add the flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well with a wooden spoon.

7. Divide the dough into two equal volumes.

8. In the first dough, add the vanilla beans. Mix well.

9. In the second, add the cocoa and incorporate it well.

10. Butter the pan, then add the flour and spread well around the edges of the pan, tapping the edges.

11. Fill the mold by starting with a layer of vanilla dough at the bottom.

12. Add a layer of chocolate dough.

13. Add a new layer of vanilla dough and so on until the end of the ingredients. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, check doneness with the tip of a knife. Turn out still warm.

14. When the cake is cold, with a toothed knife, cut slices of marble cake for the whole family.
