Apparently, everyone is tired of the ideal. The best confirmation of this is the enormous popularity of “failed” dishes, which attract just because they are far from perfect.
So Carol Lawrence, once seeing such a cake on the Internet, sent a photo of it to her daughter Charlotte. She entered a university in another city and now rarely saw her mother, kept in touch, mainly in social networks. The daughter liked the cake.
Since then, they have often exchanged photos of bad cakes. And one day Charlotte suddenly said that she wanted such a cake – for her birthday! Carol Lawrence fulfilled her daughter’s wish, noting that she did it only to make Charlotte laugh.
But whatever the first time, baking ugly birthday cakes for Charlotte has become a tradition in their family. And photos of strange cakes began to appear regularly on their social pages.
“Every year for my birthday, my mom finds an ugly cake on the Internet and prepares it for me,” Charlotte recently wrote in her post on social networks, attaching a photo of the culinary “masterpiece”.
Despite the sometimes funny or very unattractive appearance, the cakes have already had a lot of fans. According to Carol, the best praise for her is the comment that the cake turned out to be scarier than the original.
“Other mothers make beautiful cakes and cakes for their children,” Carol says. – Anyone can make a beautiful cake. But only I can do something like this.
