And it wasn’t about the hat: the whiskey was released only for women

Well, finally, the time has come when you can uncork the bottle of the famous Shtlandian Johnnie Walker and not stare at the “man in the hat” that has traditionally been placed on the label of this drink.

The producers – the British company Diageo – are seriously concerned with the problem of gender equality. We thought and decided…. No, not to remove the man from the label, but, on the contrary, to release the same whiskey, but with the woman on the label, and name the drink – Jane Walker. By the way, it was decided to dress the lady in a hat too.

Thus, representatives of the company hope that whiskey will become more attractive to the beautiful half of humanity. Especially in the first half of spring, as the women’s version of Johnnie Walker starts on the eve of International Women’s Day.

Incidentally, the $ 1 generated from the sale of each bottle of Jane Walker will go to women’s rights organizations. In addition, Diageo intends to increase the number of women in leadership positions in the near future.
