More than 200 dancers from Yekaterinburg came to the casting of the third season of the show “DANCES” on TNT. Woman’s Day met those for whom dancing is life.
– At the casting, I showed modern choreography. From the age of 9 I was professionally engaged in sports aerobics, but for health reasons I was not allowed to compete. And after sports she went into dancing, for 8 years in this field. Last year I also came to the casting, but did not get into the project. I got to the selection at 24 in Moscow, when all the guys were divided into 4 teams and each team was given a certain style.
As you know, “repeaters” are evaluated much more strictly, so I am ready for more difficult tasks. The last time I was on the jury was delighted by Seryozha Svetlakov. He gave me so many compliments that I left with a crimson face. He told me: “Do you want to act in films? Why do you need these dances ?! ” Of course, I replied that I really want to. But the matter did not go beyond words. If now I meet with Svetlakov again, I will ask him: “But what about your proposal ?!” And the mentors Miguel and Yegor Druzhinin did not let go of such jokes, but were very strict, and with everyone.
I would like to join the team to Egor. He is closer to me in spirit and more understandable, and Miguel is a volcano that will not know when it will explode.
Anastasia Oshurkova, 24 years old
– I came with hip-hop, in particular – with krump. I want to show that if a girl can dance in such a masculine style, then she is in the teeth and much more. I have been doing this direction since I was 6 years old, and before that I went to rhythmic gymnastics.
We traveled around Russia, mostly working in the club culture. But under the influence of her parents she left dancing. They believe that I am engaged in a frivolous business, insisted that it is time for me to make a career, especially since my specialty is an “innovator physicist.” Then I went to public catering, worked there for two years, and became the manager of a cafe. And a year ago, an unknown force returned me to the dance environment. I started going to training and teaching again.
Now I am almost confident in my abilities, I want to “blow up” the hall. If I don’t, it will be a shame, but the dances will still stay with me forever. I would like to get into Miguel’s team. This is mine, he has such confusion, fun, I myself am such an extrovert.
Timur Ibatulin, 17 years old, and Artur Bainazarov, 22 years old
– At the casting, they showed a dance-emotional miniature: according to the plot, we seem to open a music box and start fooling around with it. Our duo is called Gold face, and our faces in the room were supposed to be gold. But we did not have time to prepare properly and made ourselves “white-faced”.
We rehearsed this number for a long time, showed it at performances for several years, the audience really likes it. If we went to the show, we would choose Miguel, because we like his style, he is more involved in street dance performances, and this is our topic.
– I come from Cuba. Dancing reggaeton with hip-hop. I have been doing this kind of dancing for 10 years. In general, I came to the casting in Yekaterinburg, because my wife is from here, here we met her, and she persuaded me to try my hand at the project. In Cuba we watch DANCES. To pass the casting, you must have charisma first of all, and I have it!
Victoria Tretyakova, 23 years old
– I don’t know what to call my style of dance. I heard the song of the singer Adele and realized that it was mine! In dance, I show my beauty.
At the age of 3, my mother gave me to dancing, but consciously I began to dance from the age of 14. I even quit my job (worked in a travel agency) to start dancing professionally. Even if I don’t get into the project, I will dance, I will go to study in Moscow. I realized that we must strive for what you like.
– I did my best at the casting for 100%. She danced stylization – modern, hip-hop and jazz-funk. But the producers told me that they wouldn’t torture me for a long time, and didn’t even watch the dance … They are looking for another level – real professionals. But I was not upset, I took a picture with them and left, very pleased with the pleasant communication. I think I will come next time. Now I feel such adrenaline!
– I will dance to the music of Britney Spears, but I can’t say a specific direction, because I’m not very strong in them. I found a dance performance on the Internet, removed something, added something. I really wanted to get into the team to Egor. When I was little, I saw him on TV … I like his manner of communication, staging of dances, he knows how to correctly choose a person and choose a number for him.
I started watching the show “DANCES” only from the second season, and one of the participants – Dima Maslennikov inspired me a lot! Thanks to him, I myself decided to go to the casting.
Ivan Semikin, 22 years old, Vitaly Serebrennikov, 28 years old
– We will perform in the styles of breaking, locking, hip-hop and popping – so many different directions have been mixed in one dance. We worked on the issue for a couple of weeks.
Last year we also came to the casting, but at first they left us in the reserve, and then refused. Then our costumes raised many questions from the choreographers. We were in yellow pants and Russian-folk shirts, and we danced breaking, which looked funny. If only one of us is taken into the project, then it’s okay, we are friends, and we will remain them. But we believe that not only technique is the main thing for a dancer, personality is also important, because people vote for the one they empathize with.
Alina Ovsyannikova, 15 years old
– I know that you can only come to the casting from the age of 16, but they made an exception for me, because I very much asked the organizers! I came with my grandmother, she always supports me. I will show a dance in the “contemporary” style, this is a very deep act about a girl who feels empty like a doll. I have been dancing for 12 years and I think I will succeed. After all, self-confidence and artistry are important qualities for any performer.
Karina Mutabulina, 16 years old, Katya Shcherbakova, 17 years old
– We will present modern choreography at the casting. Of course, we came to our senses late, and we staged the dance in just a couple of days, but we still hope to win. Technique, of course, is very important, but artistry is no less important – they look at your face, how you express certain emotions. We would like to go to Egor Druzhinin, because we are more interested in the classical direction.
Irina Ermolaeva, 16 years old, Vika Zharkova, 18 years old
– We showed the jury a modern dance to instrumental music from the movie “Schindler’s List”. We have been working in the same team for a long time, but we have been dancing in a duet for only a couple of years. We estimate our strength as fifty to fifty …
– I’m 90% confident in my abilities, because I have a specific dance format: I dance hip-hop to the music of the Rammstein group. I don’t even know what will come of it. I chose hip-hop at the age of 12 when I saw the movie Step Up. If I pass, I would madly like to get to Miguel, because he is very funny.
It takes me 10-15 seconds to understand whether a participant is suitable for us or not. It happens that a person dances cool, but his ridiculous appearance is very repulsive. It happens that the technique is lame, but the dancer has charisma and delivery – we at least inspect such, without interrupting after a few seconds. Recently, a 16-year-old girl came to the casting in Chelyabinsk, she dances very well, I liked her. But Kostya, our creative producer, had doubts. Then we asked her to dance something else. She changed her clothes and danced hip-hop for us, and she did it awesomely cool! And she was in a completely different image, as if she had been replaced! We, of course, are looking for universal dancers, but in our project there were guys who knew how to dance one thing, and during the project they have grown a lot. For example, Slava could only dance a break, and Yulia Nikolaeva could only dance a crump. In the third season, the selection is very tough, because it needs to be made more interesting than the first and second! And my dream is to make a dance project for children, because often children dance better than adults.
