Tulip variety “Beauty Trend” – cultivation features

In order to avoid the acquisition of low-quality planting material, it is recommended to purchase bulbs from nurseries with a decent reputation. Bulbs must be large and flat and free from damage.

Basic steps for caring for Beauty Trend tulips:

  • Watering – tulips are moisture-loving plants, but at the same time they are unable to extract moisture from the deep layers of the soil. The frequency and abundance of watering increases during the flowering of the plant and for 2 weeks after its completion.
  • Top dressing – carried out 3 times during the spring-summer season: after the emergence of sprouts, before flowering and after flowering flowers. It is not recommended to use organic matter as a fertilizer, as this can contribute to rotting of the bulbs.
  • Weeding and loosening of the soil is carried out after watering the plant. Mulching the soil around the tulips will help reduce the frequency of these manipulations.
  • Flower transplant – carried out every 3-4 years. The aim of transplanting is to reduce the risk of degeneration of the variety.
  • Removal of faded flowers – decapitation is necessary to increase the mass of the bulb.

Even for an inexperienced gardener, meeting these requirements will not cause much trouble. But how beautiful the flower beds will look like, decorated with a snow-white-pink carpet of spring beauties. Try to grow Beauty Trend on your site and you will not regret it!
