Bait for bream on the ring

You can catch carps in different ways, the most successful are bottom options. In order for the trophy to definitely covet the proposed yummy on the hook, it is worth choosing the bait especially carefully, without it, none of the fish is likely to come close to the place of fishing. Lure for bream on the ring can be different, anglers with experience recommend using home-cooked options, they are more budgetary, but often work better than purchased ones.

What is ring fishing

Everyone knows that the bream prefers to constantly be closer to the bottom of any reservoir. He is more familiar with pits with depths of 2 m or more, and the strength of the current there is usually minimal. A cunning representative of cyprinids can settle down in such places both on reservoirs with stagnant water, and on large and small rivers. There are quite a few methods for catching it, each of them involves the use of various baits, and the components are often repeated, but the smell varies depending on the season and weather conditions.

The essence of the method lies in the fact that from a boat installed in one place, they cast tackle with a feeder and wait for the bream to be spotted. The tackle ring is not simple, it is better to provide its components in the form of a table:

constituentsFeatures
working linethickness 0,3-0,35mm
swag0,22-0,25 mm, and the length is determined by the number of leads
leashesquantity from 2 to 6, mounted from a fishing line, 0,16 mm thick or more
sinkerin the form of a ring, hence the name of the tackle
feedera large metal or cloth mesh that holds a large amount of bait
cordnecessary to lower the feeder, a fishing line is often used, 1 mm thick or a cord of at least 0,35 mm in diameter

The cord with the feeder is tied to the boat. On the blank of the side fishing rod, a tackle is formed with a ring instead of a sinker, a garland with leashes. The peculiarity of the use of this installation is that recasting is rarely carried out, but it can attract a lot of fish because of the abundance of food. Bait for bream when fishing with a ring is the most important ingredient, without it this tackle will not work at all.

Options are available

A purchased mixture is often used to fill the feeder, but do-it-yourself bait for bream on the ring works more efficiently, as anglers with experience say. There are a lot of cooking options, each has its own secret ingredient, on which the catchability depends.

Bait for bream on the ring

Porridge for bream in a feeder on a ring is prepared depending on the intended place of fishing, more viscous components are used for the flow, they will become a hindrance to stagnant water. The season and weather conditions will be important, they should be taken into account.

Option for fishing on the current

In this case, the mixture should turn out to be viscous and washed out from the net gradually, but if the bait disintegrates quickly, then it will be able to attract bream weakly.

Ingredients for cooking are taken only of good quality, without impurities and odors. In general, for one fishing trip you will need:

  • a kilo of chickpeas or peas, not chopped large fraction;
  • a kilo of barley;
  • 2 medium cans of canned sweet corn;
  • a pound of clay;
  • 2 tsp turmeric;
  • a kilo of factory bait for the river.

It is river lure that will give the necessary viscosity, any purchased mixture marked feeder has the same characteristics.

The cooking process goes like this:

  • Soak chickpeas or peas for 10-12 hours, then boil in enough water over low heat for at least an hour and a half.
  • Barley is boiled in a separate container until it swells, but until such a state that the grain can be held on the hook.
  • Still hot vegetable components are mixed and 100 g of honey is added if desired. Allow to cool completely.
  • Then they add canned corn in full and clay, but you should not rush with this ingredient.
  • Turmeric and purchased bait fall asleep last, everything is thoroughly mixed.

Further, dense balls are formed from the resulting mixture, the viscosity is regulated by clay.

It is recommended that after the formation of the first ball, conduct an experiment, place it in any container with water. If it fell to the bottom like a stone and did not fall apart within 5-7 minutes, the modeling process is continued. The bait prepared in this way is stored in the refrigerator, where it is stored for no more than 2-3 days.

This lure for bream in the summer on a ring along the river will work perfectly; on a hook in the form of bait, one of the ingredients of the mixture is used: corn or barley. A sandwich of these ingredients is often used.

Option for weak and moderate flow

The peculiarity of this option is that it will disintegrate more quickly than the previous one, which means that its use in stagnant water or with a weak current will bring the greatest success. For cooking, you need to stock up:

  • 1 kg of wheat or barley;
  • 1 kg of peas;
  • 0,5 kg of cake;
  • 0,5 kg of powdered milk;
  • 0,5 kg of breadcrumbs;
  • 0,5 kg of universal bait from the store;
  • 0,5 l melyas.

The preparation is quite simple, even a novice fisherman can handle it. Boil the grains until cooked, pour all the ingredients into one container and mix thoroughly. From the resulting mass we sculpt balls, check for friability as in the previous version. However, this option should gradually fall apart in water in 5-7 minutes.

To attract bream, molasses is used as a flavoring agent, with its help the viscosity of the mixture for balls is also regulated. In summer it is better to use natural, garlic or meat liquid, in summer coriander, cinnamon, anise will help to attract bream, but in autumn fruits, plums, and chocolate will work perfectly.

Universal option

Porridge prepared according to this recipe will allow you to catch not only bream, all cyprinids will respond perfectly to this feeding option.

For cooking take:

  • a kilo of whole peas;
  • the same amount of cake;
  • half a kilo of biscuit cookies;
  • half a kilo of Hercules;
  • the same amount of ground crackers from the remnants of bread;
  • 40 g of cinnamon.

Hercules is steamed in a thermos, peas are soaked and boiled until soft. Next, mix all the ingredients and let stand for 10-20 minutes. Further, the mixture is used as in the previous two options, mud or clay from the reservoir selected for fishing will help to adjust the viscosity.

Each angler has his own porridge for bream on the ring, the recipe can be improved in its own way, but the essence remains the same. The most important criteria will remain the required viscosity for a single reservoir and an attractive smell depending on the time of year.
