Are exotic fruits useful for us?

In the cold season, when the supply of vitamins runs out, the idea comes to support your immune system with an exotic cocktail.

The content of vitamins, trace elements, and minerals in exotic fruits are actually high. This is vitamin C, which increases the body’s resistance to viruses, vitamin D, without which it is impossible to absorb calcium. One eaten kiwi, pomelo, rambutan, kumquat, papaya is enough to increase immunity significantly.

Lychee, kumquat, and guava are rich in vitamins P and PP. These vitamins help blood circulation by dilating blood vessels, improving the skin’s condition, reducing the risk of heart disease and atherosclerosis.

Mango, guava, papaya contain a lot of beta-carotene, which reduces cancer risk, especially breast cancer.

On the other hand, not everything is so perfect. Any fruits that appear on the shelves of markets and shops were collected not yesterday and not even a week ago. To get to your city, they were processed in such a way as to preserve the beautiful appearance, freshness, and taste.

The vitamins that are contained in the freshly picked fruit lose their strength every week – and the fruit gets there, traveling through warehouses, sometimes for more than a month or two.

You may think that you should definitely take advantage of the moment and eat the fruit directly from the tree when going on vacation abroad. But even here, an unsophisticated tourist can be in danger: all the active “fresh” substances in ripe mango or passion fruit can hit your urban body, disrupting the liver and stomach, opening the gates to an allergic reaction.

How to eat exotic fruits properly.

Before you try, make sure that you do not have any pain, and there is no allergic reaction in the active stage. Have enzymes for better digestion and antihistamines for unexpected reactions.

Start with a small portion, and over the next 24 hours, monitor your reaction from the gastrointestinal tract, swelling, and skin rashes.
