“La Maladroite”, a fiction about mistreatment
In the first part of the evening, the fiction “La Maladroite” with Isabelle Carré and Emilie Dequenne, tells the story of 6-year-old Stella entering school for the first time. Joyful, exuberant, she is an endearing child, but often absent. Fragile health, the parents justify themselves. Falls out of clumsiness, explains Stella, when Céline, her teacher, discovers suspicious bruises on the child’s body. So mistreatment or real immune deficiency? Worried, Céline notes each injury, until the day the family moves without warning.
This fiction will be the flagship program which will highlight the group’s commitment to the subject, it will be followed by a debate and a documentary: “Les enfants maudits” by Cyril Denvers.

This documentary was awarded at the 2019 Luchon Television Creations Festival, and won the Director’s Prize and the Audience Prize. FIPA 2019 selection.
At the very beginning of the XNUMXth century, this documentary-fiction plunges us into the Petite Roquette, the terrible children’s penitentiary, in Paris. A hidden and disturbing story, unearthed thanks to the exceptional discovery of their letters written from the back of the prison. Today young actors have seized on their words to bring them back to life and reveal their ordeal to us.
