A simple charlotte recipe
 

The end of summer – the beginning of autumn is the season of apple charlotte. My version of this cake, of course, uses healthier ingredients: buckwheat flour, organic honey, farm eggs and cottage apples (or you can add plums and / or pears).

Ingredients: 4 large apples, 3 eggs, a glass of buckwheat flour, 5 tablespoons of honey, a pinch of baking soda, a tablespoon of coconut oil.

Preparation:

Mix eggs and honey thoroughly, gradually add flour and stir. “Quench” the soda with boiling water and add to the dough. The consistency of the dough should resemble thick kefir. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces. Grease a baking dish with coconut oil, put apples on the bottom, cover with dough and place in an oven preheated to 180 C for 40 minutes. Pears and / or plums can be used with or instead of apples. You can add cinnamon to the dough.
