3 types of cookware that can be dangerous

It is no longer a secret for anyone that such convenient plastic cups, when pouring hot drinks into them, pose a tangible danger to humans. At temperatures above 80 degrees, plastic releases harmful substances. And such dangerous substances as formaldehyde, vinyl chloride and other compounds can enter the human body.

What other dishes require more careful attention to themselves:

1. Teflon coated dishes

Such a convenient and beloved by all teflon-coated dishes should not be used if its surface is scratched. Also, it cannot be heated above 200C. For reference, vegetable oil begins to smoke at a temperature of 170C.

 

In recent decades, DuPont, which developed more than eighty years ago the technology for the production of Teflon, has been regularly accused that its product is harmful and even carcinogenic, that is, it can cause cancer.

2. Stainless steel dishes

It contains nickel, when cooking, it gets into dishes and can cause allergic reactions. 

3. Enameled dishes

Keep an eye on the integrity of the enamel on such dishes, if even the slightest chip or crack appears, all harmful substances from the alloy will enter the food.
